Adventurers can discover many things on their journeys. Wealth or destitution, fame or infamy, love or heartbreak. Things that whether desired or not can change the course of a life. For one adventurer named Conall such a journey only needed to take him slightly beyond his own threshold. Happening upon an injured girl with the features of a fox and the spirit to match both embark on together on a new kind of journey as they attempt to reveal her unknown past and help her adjust to a world she finds foreign. Given the name Amber, they find themselves building a life they never thought possible even as they search for a way to return Amber to her old world. But as the possibility becomes more real a choice must be made. Will the journey leave them better or worse than when it began and will the girl with the fox spirit choose the wild or her life as Amber?
