The Descent of the Crimson Calamity

In the sixth year of the Apocalypse, Cang Lan and his younger sister flee to Java Island to escape the pursuit of the Ming Dynasty.
In order for the island’s tribal chief to accept them and give his sister shelter, Cang Lan willingly offers himself as a sacrificial tribute to the gods, hoping only that his sister can live in peace on Java Island.

But during the ritual, a sudden rain of arrows shatters everything.
Everyone present is slaughtered—Cang Lan alone survives, and the island is drenched in blood.

When crimson rain falls from the sky, the flames of vengeance are finally ignited.
