Derideal

Derideal is a webcomic or sometimes called web-graphic novel, writen and drawn by the Chilean artist Andrés Barra.

Derideal was originally a 12 page comic drawn one Sunday with pencil over a small sketchbook around the year 2006, it was supposed to be only that episode but during the year 2007 he scanned the pages, edited it digitally and upload them at the Smackjeeves webcomic community, due his relative success with the story Andrés decided to draw more episodes, greatly motivated by the comentaries he was getting, he also decided to translate the pages to english with the help of some friends.

Since it was first published a small community grew around the comic, who with their support and help gave Andrés the strength to keep drawing and making comics for almost 10 years now, the derideal expanded universe Project Prime, Purpurina Effect and The Void wouldn’t exist today without the community, it’s thank to them he's managed to keep on with this project.
