Mei was once a totally ordinary person until she was in an accident that ended her current life and transported her to the world of her favorite Otome game as "May", a villainess. However, the twist in this game is that there are multiple protagonists, all villainesses! The idea is that you take down your rivals and create a harem of hot guys.

Playing the game was pretty fun, but actually living through it was a completely different story. Though she always had a good relationship with Prince Remy, May had zero capacity for villainy and always ended up on the wrong side of somebody else's blade or poison vial.

No matter how many times she is reincarnated, the outcome is the same, and eventually, she decides to give up being a villainess altogether.

On her next run, she ignores all the possible routes and decides to stay inside her home and live a slow life. Just as she finally finds some semblance of peace, the prince arrives and informs her that he is ready to "take her home."
