Sanpei Yoshimoto (1900-1940) Mangaka of the early Showa period.
Born in 1899. He studied under Keishu Takeuchi and Koten Shimokawa. He began to do koma manga starting with the 4th issue of Tokyo Puck. In 1930, he joined Hidezo Kondo's new manga group. "Bear Cub Korosuke'', which was serialized in "Yonen Club'' beginning in 1935, became popular, but due to his sudden death, he was replaced by Masao Haga. Died on May 1, 1940 at age 41 in Tokyo.
