The protagonist is visiting a shrine together with a girl named Mochizuki, and he can't help but praise the kimonos worn by other girls… yet the one he actually wants to compliment is hers. That puts Mochizuki-san in the mood to roast some mochi.

Note: “to roast [some] mochi” (もちを焼く [mochi o yaku]) is a play on the phrase “to be jealous” (焼もちを焼く [yakimochi o yaku]).
