Hina Novikov fell in love with the sea at a young age, influenced by her patriotism and her father whom served in the Soviet Navy during the Great Patriotic War. Hina decided to aim for the top so that one day, she may stand proudly with her father and older brother who both served in the Soviet Navy.

However during a freak accident in 1970, the USSR was plunged into a third world war with the west. Hina Novikov, now a cadet in the Kuznetsov Naval Academy, was conscripted and put aboard a destroyer in the Black Sea. Will she be able to reach the top despite being in the middle of what might become most destructive war in the history of mankind?
