The "Mark" (Shirushi) is a mysterious bruise that signifies a countdown to "death." Kazuo Yashiki, who was engraved with a "Mark" in exchange for his memories, is guided by Mary—a Western-style doll at the Kujo Mansion. Alongside other "Marked" individuals (Shirushibito) who share the same fate, he confronts "spirits" (Ka-i) to overturn his destiny of death. Will Yashiki be able to survive?
