Fortunus Games

Prequel to the upcoming indie game and visual novel, "Sam in New York" by Fortunus Games, this short comic tells the story of Sam Abramov, a young boy living in 1910s New York City. Always the new kid on the block with demanding helicopter parents who want him to be a lawyer, Sam worships the Yiddish theatre actor Boris Thomashefsky from afar. One day, he hopes, he can be just as audacious and bold…!

25 year old Sam Abramov is an inexperienced young lawyer in New York City, barely making ends meet. Once upon a time in high school, he had aspired to become an actor and comedian. However, he had to give up his (admittedly unrealistic) dreams once he and his parents decided that law school would be a more realistic choice for him. What does Sam actually want for himself, however? And what will he do and decide once tragedy unexpectedly hits him and his loved ones…?
