Ten years ago, an independently produced anime was screened at the Hikarigaoka High School cultural festival. Deeply moved by the animation, Kazuto Takai decided to join the school's anime club. Time passes, and upon entering high school, Kazuto immediately tries to join the anime club, only to find it disbanded at the end of the school year.
