'I wish I could share my sleepiness with you, Oz-san.' Designer Kotou, who has trouble sleeping, secretly respects Amemiya, a junior employee in another department. He admires the way he can quickly turn down a drinking session he doesn't feel like attending, and the way he takes a nap in exactly 15 minutes during his lunch break. Kotou, who has a tendency to overthink things and is unable to get along with others in a safe manner, looks at him with envy. On his way home one day, Amemiya invites him out for a drink, and with the help of alcohol, Kotou spills the beans about his insomnia problems. Afterwards, he decides to let the drunken Amemiya stay at his house. There, Amemiya proposes "sleeping in a sofa" as a solution to his insomnia - and what happens?

Matoi Souta is a salaryman who’s tired in both body and spirit. One day, on his way home from a grueling bout of work, he stumbles upon a koudan performance and decides to see it on a whim. During the performance, he sees a changed cat, causing him to jump in surprise, but eventually attributes it to the fatigue and brushes it off—until he sees it again.

On his trip Kimijima Kazushi approached a guy, Higaki just out of loneliness for some conversation… After spending some time he learned Higaki possessed the power of the sea which could bewitch and control people… Higaki got scared by his drunken mistake tried to brush it off and run away but to his surprise got surprisingly accepted by Kazushi… who claimed to not bothered by his supernatural power.

Touji is an average high school student who is terrible at dealing with people and struggles with physical contact. On one rainy day, all of Touji's struggles come to a head when he encounters Itsuki Yato, a fellow classmate who touches him casually even when they first meet. Even though Touji isn't great at socializing, Itsuki goes out of his way to talk to him and spend time with him. Gradually, Touji starts to want to learn more about Itsuki…

One day, high school teacher Yoshitake finds a 60's era paper left in the school's old building. Written there are the names Yosuke Haruoki, writer of a short story, and Mikumo Sakagami, the short story's main character. Through an array of strange coincidences, Yoshitake and his colleague, Yahiro, begin to have the strangest hunch: that Haruoki and Sakagami were their past lives.
