Canaria, a young boy who has left the remote frontier behind and is heading for the royal capital with his companion, the flying bird Chirolo, possesses memories from his past life. Those memories are painful ones—of a time when, despite longing for cute things, he had to constantly restrain himself. Though the journey is fraught with danger and encounters with villains, Canary—raised by a mother from the Sky Clan who can fly freely through the skies and a father who is a sage with a wealth of magical knowledge—is quite the fighter.
