The artwork for the Federation arc was done by Hideyuki Matsuoka , and the artwork for the Zeon arc was done by Tomotake Kinoshita . This comic adaptation was serialized in Kodansha's " Monthly Magazine Z ". The Federation arc ran from the September to November 1999 issue, and the Zeon arc from the February to April 2000 issue, but neither has been compiled into a single volume.
