In modern Japan, mysterious dungeons filled with monsters have become a part of everyday life. Defeating monsters can yield supernatural items and skills, while ingredients harvested inside dungeons are considered some of the finest and rarest foods in the world. Shishio Yozakura is an extraordinarily powerful former dungeon explorer. One day, he hears his favorite VTuber, Jin Sakai, casually mention that he'd love to try food made from dungeon ingredients. For Shishio, that's all the motivation he needs. Determined to someday serve his oshi the ultimate dungeon meal, Shishio makes the completely reasonable decision to become a VTuber himself, debuting under the name Botan Yamanushi. His channel initially struggles to attract attention, but everything changes when he begins combining his absurdly powerful explorer skills with cooking streams featuring ingredients ordinary people could never dream of obtaining.
His outrageous cooking techniques and unbelievably extravagant dungeon cuisine quickly go viral, turning Botan into an internet sensation. But fame brings its own problems, and Shishio's increasingly ridiculous streams soon begin attracting attention far beyond the VTuber community. Thus begins the streaming career of an overwhelmingly powerful dungeon explorer whose ultimate goal isn't fame, fortune, or saving the world, he just wants to cook something delicious for his favorite VTuber.
