As Super Mimiko, she carries the all-purpose item "Ninjutsu Scroll," using various scientific ninjutsu (fleeing with fire, water, and the earth, levitation, transformation, and so forth) to exterminate gangs, monsters, and thieves. Mimiko's gallant actions and brilliant ninjutsu techniques continue to fascinate even after 55 years of serialization. Mimiko's fashion, depicted with Mitsuaki Suzuki's modern sense, is also noteworthy! While Chief Detective Momoko has a heart-shape motif, Mimiko's is a club. The story is a suspenseful action drama in which three good friends, Momoko, Kijiko, and Wanko, the "Ribon Detective Club," encounter bizarre cases involving monsters and supernatural creatures such as ogres, sea beasts, kappa, and wolf boys, and solve them with their brilliant deductions and courageous actions.
