Yokoi Fukujirō

The author, who passed away suddenly in 1948, published this story in the Science Adventure Times in his later years as "Exciting Tarzan's African Tunnel."

The sequel to Fukujirou Yokoi's famous series Fushigi na Kuni Puchar. After Yokoi's untimely death from tuberculosis in 1948, the series was completed by Tetsuo Ogawa.

In the year 2947, a boy named Puchar travels through space, spending time on the moon and Mars. This classic sci-fi adventure series, published during the postwar US occupation of Japan, is considered to have been a major influence on the works of Osamu Tezuka, Leiji Matsumoto, Yoshiharu Tsuge, Ryuuichi Yokoyama, and more.
