Sawako and Shoto get the fortunes, Shoto get's extremely good luck and Sawako get's bad luck. When walking home Shoto mentions that this is where they first met and Sawako is surprised he remembered.

Sawako and Shoto walk to the shrine in silence until Ayane, Chizuru and Ryu call Shoto to say the sorry for not coming. Shoto finds out that it's Sawako's birthday.

It's going to be new years eve and Sawako's birthday, she plans on going to visit the shrine of the year with Chizuru, Ayane, Ryu and Shota.

Shota invites Sawako to a Christmas party and she accepts. Sawako sees how excited her dad is about Christmas and decides to stay with her mom and dad on Christmas and not go to the Christmas party she was invited to.

Chizuru and Ryu's older brother, Toru walk around and talk about the past. Chizuru and Ryu managed to get along.

Ryu's brother leaves. Ryu says something to Chizuru that makes her angry. Sawako and Ayane don't know what to do to cheer Chizuru up and Shoto gives them advice.

Sawako is sleeping over with Ayane and Chizuru. Chizuru decides to see Ryu. Ryu tries to tell Chizuru that he likes her but then his older brother, Toru comes home.

Sawako's friends, Chizuru and Ayane spend time with her at her house and meet her mom and dad. Pin gets a cold but thinks he is possessed. Sawako, Chizuru, Ayane, Ryu and Shota take care of Pin when he's sick.

Bolstered by the resolve shown by Sawako, Kurumi thinks about her past with Kazehaya and decides on her future. She faces Kazehaya, swallows her fear, and tells him the truth...

The girls confront Kurumi, who has done everything in her power to pull Kazehaya away from Sawako and toward herself. Despite admitting to it all, Sawako forgives Kurumi and continues to treat her like a friend.

Kurumi's ultimate plan backfires, as Kazehaya pulls Sawako away in private when he finds her alone with Ryu. The misunderstanding is cleared up instantly, but the feelings stirring within both Sawako and Kazehaya only get more confusing.

During a school event, Sawako finds a mysterious note in her shoe locker. Apparently, Ryu has something to admit to her. Kurumi and Kazehaya intervene with the worst possible timing for Sawako...

Kurumi has told Sawako her big secret, but Sawako apologizes and says that she cannot help. Kurumi reveals her true colors, but Sawako remains undeterred and promises to remain her friend.

Sawako finds herself unable to avoid Kurumi, who pops up around every corner to offer support or ask for something. An unfamiliar feeling surrounds Sawako and Kazehaya, who grow too flustered to speak with one another like they used to.

Kurumi decides to become friends with Sawako in order to get closer to Kazehaya, herself. Ayane and Chizuru are suspicious of this eternally-cheerful girl.

New rumors are circulating! Apparently, making Sawako laugh gives you good luck! Kazehaya's old friend Kurumi begins to get involved in things. Sawako and Kazehaya grow closer.

Sawako is invited to hang out with friends for the first time ever. She meets up with Ayane and Chizuru, and then spend some time at Ryu's place. Kazehaya is invited over and everyone has a wonderful time.

The rumor-mongers are outed and confronted when they decide to move against Sawako. Sawako learns who her true friends are.

The group is plagued by questions. Did Sawako start these rumors? Why would she do that? Who could really be responsible? No answers are in sight and Sawako shrinks back into her old ways-quiet and alone.

Rumors are circulating about Sawako's friends, Ayane and Chizuro. It is said that Sawako started these rumors, but she is unaware that anything is going on at all. When approached about it, Sawako hesitates in her response.

Kazehaya and Sawako grow closer together and end up performing some classroom chores together after school.

Sawako finds a lost puppy and Kazehaya decides to take him in. The class seats are shuffled and Sawako learns that she might have more friends than she first thought.

Kuronuma Sawako is often misunderstood and feared by others for resembling a horror movie character. She enters her new high school hoping that she can make new friends. Her chance comes when she volunteers to be a ghost for a school activity.
