A young human named Eiji achieved great sword skills and as a result had the title of “hero” bestowed upon him. However, the Sacred Sword, the only weapon that can defeat monsters, was being monopolized by the temple of Seirin, on top of them keeping the warriors under their control… Eiji, disgusted by this situation, decides to reject his role as a hero and become an apprentice to the dwarves with the goal of creating a sword that will surpass the Sacred Sword and make the world a place where everyone does not have to fear the monsters…
