Good mix of action/puzzles/party gathering with stable plot progression

I didn't expect much from the manhua based on the description (expected more typical harem slop), but oh, I was wrong about it. It has a non-standard centralized plot with some slow-burning secrets that MC is uncovering "step by step" (his favorite quote from the manhua). The MC here is very smart and cunning, and he becomes quite powerful over time (but not overpowered).
