Description

After rigorously training for three years, the ordinary Saitama has gained immense strength which allows him to take out anyone and anything with just one punch. He decides to put his new skill to good use by becoming a hero. However, he quickly becomes bored with easily defeating monsters, and wants someone to give him a challenge to bring back the spark of being a hero.

Upon bearing witness to Saitama's amazing power, Genos, a cyborg, is determined to become Saitama's apprentice. During this time, Saitama realizes he is neither getting the recognition that he deserves nor known by the people due to him not being a part of the Hero Association. Wanting to boost his reputation, Saitama decides to have Genos register with him, in exchange for taking him in as a pupil. Together, the two begin working their way up toward becoming true heroes, hoping to find strong enemies and earn respect in the process.

Notes:

  • Because some groups use the web version of the manga while others use the magazine version, the numbering won't match between different languages.
  • Because a takedown notice was sent to MangaDex from the owners of this series, fan translations of One Punch Man are currently unavailable to be uploaded. The series can be read in its entirety at the official Shonen Jump website, with the first and latest three chapters available at any time and the rest accessible with a Shonen Jump membership (which costs about $2 a month and can be accessed via a VPN if you are outside the US).

Has lost it's plot (╥﹏╥)

The manga as it is right now is in quite a poor spot, both writing and schedule wise (for a lack of a better explanation). It seems that ONE and Yusuke Murata can't get a feel on what they want to write so it ends up with a lot of redraws, if you want to read this manga I highly suggest waiting for the release of physical volumes as these won't be rewritten (hopefully). Writing wise I think the manga lost the plot, I think everything until the finals parts of the MA arc are worth reading, after that I think it los...

Don't let the name stop you from reading this master piece.

Most of the people hesitate to start this manga saying, "what's the point if he is going to defeat all the villains with a single punch. That's just boring". Even a friend I recommended this to said the same thing. First of all that is not true (for some cases) and Saitama is not the only character who has fight scenes in this manga. Here is why I recommend it: 1) It has the best art that I have ever seen since I started reading manga. 2) It has phenomenal story writing, and the characters are all unique and well w...

OPM was peak, and I’m still a fan, but after the Monster Association arc, the story kind of fell off. There are still some great moments like Tatsumaki vs. Saitama and Amai Mask’s true identity but overall, it hasn’t hit the same level since.

It's very peak, specially the art but Murata, the artist, sometimes changes things that are better in the webcomic. It's not that his changes are bad, but the Webcomic original plot in a bunch of times is better, but i like to see the differences, it...
