Marquis's daughter Vivietta slaps a young lady who was getting too close to her fiancé—only to be caught in the act by the very fiancé himself, the Third Prince. At that shocking moment, Vivietta suddenly remembers her previous life as a Japanese woman.

"This situation... Don't tell me I'm the villainess in one of those stories!?"

At this rate, she's doomed to have her engagement annulled and her life ruined. But it's already too late for the usual "happy ending" turnarounds. With no allies and no useful knowledge from her past life, she despairs—

"My life is over..."

Just then, the prince summons her. If you're reborn as a villainess, isn't there supposed to be a kind hero who helps you?
