This manhwa is really a breath of fresh air that cuts cleanly through the increasingly standard, "mass produced" feel so many large works have nowadays. The main character's design is so striking that I still get surprised at each new drawing of him - ranging from merely uncanny to outright grotesque, horrific high contrast works that manage to be a bit terrifying even in a story that doesn't emphasize horror as a main theme... He feels completely out of place in the world he inhabits. Even if the story was awful...

Really fun to read and very refreshing to see

I don't really write reviews but I feel this manhwa REALLY needs more attention. I genuinely feel that this manhwa is so underrated compared to all the other mage/magic ones around. The magic system is relatively easy to understand but also has it own uniqueness and quirks (with the mc's powers). Mc is lowkey horrifying but also very fun to read. To me, the story so far is kind basic (not that its a bad thing), but I feel everything else (character interactions, dialogue, etc.) makes up for it. The art is also grea...

If I could rate it as a decimal on this site, I would probably give it like an 8.5 but you can't so to be as fair as possible I have given it a 9. The story is good with a well thought out power system. It has some good characters but also some annoying characters. But by far the biggest issue I have with this manhwa is the fact that Ain's "personality" gets bigger and bigger every chapter and while I can tolerate it, it just feels unnecessary and somewhat takes away from a good manhwa.

Peak. Very mature writing, characters all have goals, aspirations. The eldritch horor professor being nice and caring was unexpected, but surprisingly enjoyable. Peak.
