The dragon is destined to long for the lost orb of life. Therefore, the dragon's companion is not chosen, but determined. The young daughter of a noble family, Seren, was born as the companion of the Dragonblood and marries Emperor Isbrandt, the successor of the Dragonblood. When her memories, lost in an accident, came back and the truth the Emperor had been hiding was revealed, the shackles he had put on her were already tightly binding Seren.
