The story revolves around Duan Ling, the son of a sect leader, who was abducted by the demonic cult as a child. There, he met the Lu family's twin brothers, Lu Xiuyan and Lu Xiuwen. Lu Xiuyan was gentle and kind, while Lu Xiuwen was sharp-tongued and cunning. With Lu Xiuyan's help, Duan Ling managed to escape the cult.
