Rintaro Marui, a third-year junior high school student who had no goals in life and was living hand to mouth, entered a bicycle race and miraculously won in a tie. From this experience, Rintaro learned the fun of cycling and decided to take a 20,000km bicycle trip around Japan. However, that was too reckless a challenge for a junior high school student!
