Hyo-woo is hated everywhere because of his eyes. He is saved by Sa-Gang and he settles in his village. The villagers are waiting for rain because of the frequent drought, and when they see Hyo-woo's eyes, they accuse him of causing the drought. Hyo-woo develops a soft spot for Sa-gang, who is the only person who looks at him kindly amidst the hatred. But Sagang, who hates rain rituals so much, starts holding rain rituals after Hyo-woo's arrival. People gossip that he did it because of Hyo-woo... Hyo-woo's confidence in himself is shaken by the rumors he hears from various parties.
