Milian, a sickly daughter, is secretly in love with Alain, her butler. Alain is the only person who has been kind to Milian, who has been abandoned by her family and has been alone for a long time. Her devoted husband proposes that she spend some time alone with Alain in the countryside, which brings her a peaceful and happy life.
