At a crucial time when the Crown Prince would be decided upon the Second Prince's coming of age, Luella was bewildered when her fiancé, the First Prince, told her he wanted "a little freedom." With only two months left, if Luella abandoned her education and social obligations, the Second Prince would be chosen as Crown Prince. She tried to explain this, but her mouth began to tingle. Something felt wrong, but suddenly everything went dark. When she opened her eyes, she was in her own room. It seemed she had been poisoned with the royal family's secret poison. Her feelings for her fiancé had cooled instantly. Moreover, perhaps as a side effect of the poison, she was left with a tingling sensation in her body. Due to the lingering effects of the poison, the engagement was called off. She decided to return to her territory to recuperate. On the way, she found a magician who had collapsed. This magician was employed by the Marquis's family, and Luella began receiving treatment from him. Meanwhile, a harsh reality awaited the First Prince and his retainers, who had enjoyed their freedom without any sense of guilt.
