Flower Beggar

At the ground floor of the Lafayette Apartments, which are on the brink of demolition, Eve runs a dumpling shop called Moon Dumpling. One freezing winter day, she takes in Rex—a strikingly handsome vagrant who lives off flowers.

Unbeknownst to her, Rex is in fact the building’s sole heir and a notorious troublemaker in Manhattan’s high society. For reasons of his own, he disguises himself as a flower beggar and stays at Moon Dumpling, helping Eve with the shop.

As Rex boldly makes his advances, calling her “noona,” Eve finds her resolve wavering.
