Albert di Saloum is the Second Prince of the Kingdom of Saloum and the doting older brother of Lloyd, the extraordinarily magic-obsessed Seventh Prince. One day, while Albert is working inside the castle, an enormous torrent of magical power suddenly engulfs him. The culprit, unsurprisingly, is Lloyd, who managed to cast a bundle of spells while sleeping. When the brothers regain their bearings, the Kingdom of Saloum is nowhere to be found. Instead, they're surrounded by paved roads, towering buildings, unfamiliar clothing and people speaking a language neither of them understands. Albert and Lloyd have somehow been transported to modern-day Japan. Determined to keep his beloved little brother safe and eventually find a way back home, Albert realizes that their immediate problems are much more mundane: they need food, somewhere to sleep, and money. Fortunately, they encounter Natsume Arisugawa, a runaway girl who takes pity on the strangely dressed brothers. She helps them find somewhere to stay and even introduces Albert to a potential part-time job. Albert promptly learns Japanese overnight and throws himself into adapting to modern life. From working part-time and eating ramen to hiking mountains and encountering familiar faces from Saloum in unexpected circumstances, the two princes begin experiencing everything modern Japan has to offer.

A reverse-isekai slice-of-life comedy following the Second and Seventh Princes of Saloum as they swap swords and sorcery for jobs, convenience stores and everyday life in modern Japan.
