Habu Mioh, the son of the Dragon King, gets banished to the human realm as punishment for his lack of interest in living up to his role as successor to the throne. Once there, he finds himself under constant attack by various demon beasts, who mostly are interested in getting their hands on his liver, which is said to hold the secrets to eternal life and youthfulness.
