(from ebookjapan):
The story takes place in Edo at the end of the Edo era. Sakitaro, the heir to a kimono wholesaler in Kanda Otama-ga-ike, has a strong sense of justice, but he is a simple and careless man. He attends an academy with various friends, but for some reason he is the only one with a Western-style headdress and Western-style kimono. He lives a life of innocence in the flowery Edo with his friends and girls. He also learns about the life of a man through his association with the great Sakamoto Ryoma, who is the head master of the Chiba Shusaku Dojo. This is a human drama that sharply approaches the essence of human nature. George Akiyama's poignant jidaigeki!
