One day, Souma Satsuki, an ordinary female college student, opens a scroll hidden in a storehouse and travels back in time to the Heian period.

However, troubles continue to arise, such as Itaka, a wild, brown-skinned Tengu spirit who takes an interest in Satsuki, who is constantly approaching her, and the real "Daughter of Masakado" who is pursuing her!
