It is the eve of the Asuka Period, and Emishi, the heir to the powerful Soga clan, is 14 years old. His father takes him to the Imperial Court, where he meets a 10-year-old boy, Prince Umayado.

The turbulent story of Emishi and Umayado begins now.

Many rare color manuscripts, chapter covers, preview cuts, etc. are fully reproduced. This is the "complete version" of Ryoko Yamagishi's masterpiece, a representative of the Japanese manga world!

  • Won the Kodansha Manga Award for Shojo in 1983
