This is one of those stories where the author is really trying to force a narrative even though it makes no sense. In chapter 1, this guy gets summoned to another world and he jumps on the opportunity because he's completely average and his life is uneventful. He then shows up to the new world and gets bullied because the real hero is injured and he's only a substitute that no one cares about. Summing up chapter 4, MC gets enticed by a being who comes to him and pretty much persuades him to become a "warrior/hero" and fight in another world. Some bob-headed person comes crying to MC, telling him to join their temple as a substitute hero (the real hero is in some deep sleep, probably a curse or something he did to himself, though this is just my guess). The hero's name is Koichi (I'm not making this up). Anyway, they start abusing MC and pretty much throwing him into fighting right away with no weapons or...
