Spooking humans and inflicting pain is the livelihood of those living in the monster world. Even in the monster world, the important thing for a student is to move on to the next grade, graduate, and find employment! However, for the underachieving group of students in class Z who find themselves being that ones that get spooked and injured, the path to becoming a splendid monster appears difficult.
