Stamm-Zenolinde, a hero of the Alpharion Kingdom and hailed as the strongest swordsman, lost his place as swordsmen due to the advancement of magic. He too was scorned as "someone who can't use magic" and demoted to a dead-end job. Time passed, and he became an old man in every sense of the word, spending his days as a village guard. However, his former disciple, Fehle, came to him asking him to teach him swordsmanship at the magic academy, setting the story in motion once again. The swordsman is not dead yet.
