Yuichi is an unremarkable convenience store clerk. On the day he finishes a grueling overtime shift that lasted nearly 24 hours, he gets swept up in a magical summoning meant to bring a group of high school delinquents to another world. While the officially summoned students each receive powerful skills from a goddess, Yuichi—who was never supposed to be there—ends up with a massive pile of leftover “trash skills” that were slated for disposal.

To make matters worse, the king who performed the summoning declares him useless and banishes him from the royal palace.
