What if every human had a price tag? One day, a mysterious virus app spreads across the globe, automatically installing itself on every phone. Its function? To assign a monetary value to every person alive. If your value hits ₩0, you die. While most people are valued at hundreds of thousands of won or more, the protagonist Go Gohui is horrified to find her worth set at a mere 2,500 won. “I don’t want to die… but why is there even a system that prices human lives?” As society begins to unravel and the cost of living takes on a terrifying new meaning, Gohui sets out to uncover the truth behind the app—and why her life is deemed so cheap.
