Last year, they missed Koushien by a hair's breadth, despite having Baba, a gem of a player, in their midst. Baba is determined to make it in his final year of high school and scouts his middle school opponent, Ushijima Shou, but he is stubbornly turned down. Instead, Shou recommends his twin sister, Emi.
