A boy is born with such a beautiful face that his parents fear he will be taken by fairies. To protect him, they give him a non-perfect name: Merurutika, a girl's name. As a result, he is teased throughout his childhood. Now an adult, Merurutika has grown into a muscular man working for the Defense Bureau—and it turns out he is the model for the hit magical girl anime "Magical Girl Merurutika." One day, he encounters a young boy also named Merurutika who is being bullied, and their encounter brings warmth and heroism to the surface.
