Tanaka Akari, an archaeology major, is a student living in extreme poverty and doesn't mind eating weeds. She earns a living and pays for her tuition by working part-time excavating ruins, and aims to be treated to meals by her professor and senior students. Akari has the strange luck to often unearth valuable items at excavation sites, but she also tends to get into trouble. The tough and tireless Akari teams up with senior Koga, a large, sweet-toothed man, to solve cases in this archaeological excavation x mystery story.
