Rainbow Temple

Sarnan Hashi is the orphaned son of a ministerial family and lives under the protection of his guardian, his uncle Kiya. He loves ancient temples and, while working on their restoration, he heard the voice of the sky god Teselan in a dream, and upon waking, the blueprints for the temple were imprinted in his mind.

One day, in the old town market , he almost has his wallet stolen by a pickpocket named Shirato. Later, he hides Shirato, who has killed a white man and his ex-wife and fled to the temple, but Shirato, whose conscience has awakened while helping Cernan with the temple's restoration work, is shot and killed by police officers who deliberately pursued him. Witnessing this, Cernan begins to doubt the way his uncles are promoting the modernization of the country through coffee cultivation, and he seeks the advice of Iwanaga, a Japanese economic advisor to the government, and proceeds to cultivate wheat independently. Meanwhile, in order to build a road that will connect the trading port and the capital in a straight line , he tries to acquire the land belonging to the Colors family between them and the capital, and he works with his uncle to arrange a political marriage between his cousin Arsha and the Colors family .

As Sarnan becomes engrossed in political infighting, he gradually loses his sense of the Sky God's presence. But what exactly is the Sky God, and what is truly necessary to enrich the nation?
