Sarnan Hashi is the orphaned son of a ministerial family and lives under the protection of his guardian, his uncle Kiya. He loves ancient temples and, while working on their restoration, he heard the voice of the sky god Teselan in a dream, and upon waking, the blueprints for the temple were imprinted in his mind. One day, in the old town market , he almost has his wallet stolen by a pickpocket named Shirato. Meanwhile, in order to build a road that will connect the trading port and the capital in a straight line , he tries to acquire the land belonging to the Colors family between them and the capital, and he works with his uncle to arrange a political marriage between his cousin Arsha and the Colors family .
