Animaru, a boy who came to Hida no Sato to train as a ninja in earnest, helps Momiji and Kogenta, who are being chased by the Fuma Shinobi. When Animaru learns that the village of Hida has been burned by Fuma, who is after the secret book, he decides to go with Momiji and the others, who have been entrusted with the secret book of the village.
