If it is by your hand that I die, then I will have no regrets about this life— With that thought, the saint Elena is killed by the man she loves. Through the spray of blood, she gazes at the emotionless Faris beyond it and smiles, praying that the last version of her he remembers will be the one who spent happy days at his side. —Or so it should have ended. When she comes to, time has rewound to before she ever met Faris. On the same day, at the same hour, the priest arrives to escort her as a candidate for sainthood. Ahead of her lies the same future in which she will meet Faris.
