Mihyang, a widow, crosses the mountain every day to sell rice cakes. One day, she is caught by a tiger spirit who makes her a startling proposition: if she spends one night with him, he won’t eat her. With young children waiting for her at home and no one else around to help, Mihyang has little choice but to consider the tiger’s offer. And to make matters worse, the tiger is far more handsome than she expected—with broad shoulders, a powerful physique, and gleaming golden eyes. With no way to escape and her children waiting at home, Mihyang ultimately makes her decision.
