A young woman awakens with total amnesia in a lavish estate. She is told she is Alice, a Duke's daughter, but her emaciated body and bruise-covered skin point to a dark past. Her father and brother shower her with remorseful apologies and treat her like fragile glass, yet everyone steadfastly refuses to reveal what actually happened to her. Beneath the surface of her quiet, comfortable life lies a web of hidden guilt, where every gentle smile masks a secret, and every "It's to protect you" keeps her trapped in ignorance. As Alice pieces together the truth behind her lost memories and the "gentle lies" surrounding her, she is forced to make a life-altering choice.
