On the day I was promised in marriage to a prince, I witnessed my father and the Empress tangled together in a disgraceful affair. For my mother’s sake, I tried to endure it and pretend I hadn’t seen anything.

But when my mother learned the truth, she took her own life—leaving me with nothing but revenge. To deal with mad people, shouldn’t I become just as mad myself?

“Your Highness the Crown Prince, will you marry me?”

The day before the wedding, I proposed to my fiancé’s half-brother—the Crown Prince—so that I could take revenge on my father and the Empress.
