The MC doesn’t really match the rest

The mc just doesn’t fit the story it tries to tell, he is far too comedic and dumb to be able to make the story of him looking after the empress after a coup feel like there are any stakes. Especially with the fact that he tries to deny his martial arts frustrates me more. It being a VRMMO type manhua doesn’t really bother me cause it’s a trapped in the game type thing but again whatever story they try to tell that has any hint of seriousness is ruined by mc
